Peace, Oneness, The Presence, The Stillness, GOD, The Silence.

The ultimate goal to any spiritual aspirant. To find and understand Oneself. At the beginning of the path, it seems almost incredible that someone could find the truth about such a thing as life itself. That someone could gather a complete understanding of who they are and be able to still the raging current that the mind appears to be.

The challenges are great, there is no denying this fact. It isn't an easy process the grasping of a thought and taming it. Nor is facing up to your darkest moments, your history of love and hate, of guilt and desire. But yet there comes a point when the challenges become inspiration, where the fear of uncovering becomes a great addiction to do just that. And the quest to further your Self becomes your life's mission. Silence ensues. 

Almost like a blissful dawn, a falling away of fears and being alone, there is a moment when all of your hard work begins to pay. For long and weary, you battle against the beliefs of your past. You are ridiculed and scorned, fought against and beleaguered. And this, from your mind! And then, quite unexpectedly, you find yourself experiencing a great peace. But still there is much more to do, more to experience, more to release. This is GOD saying, "Thank you. I have heard you from the beginning and watched as you struggled, and just now, you have learnt to hear my voice. Know that I am yours always and forever".

And from there, your energy is increased because now you know there is something to strive for. Your joy in uncovering the darkest of your thoughts is bewildering, because now it becomes exciting to watch it appear and then watch it melt away. Your ability at control becomes greater and you begin to see the things in life that you were meant to see and your understanding of the truth comes to fruition.

When finally, you reach the point where you have looked at all things, when you have ploughed and seeded the garden, life takes a turn and nothing is ever the same. You begin to live. Peace, Oneness, The Presence. The Stillness, GOD, The Silence.
